Round Halo Moissanite Stud Earrings

One moissanite at the centre, circled by a ring of smaller stones — light from the middle fading outward, like the halo around the moon.
The halo is graded by radius: stones nearer the centre slightly larger, the outer ring slightly smaller, so the falloff reads as light rather than as a border.
Widened backs spread the weight; a full day leaves nothing on the lobe.

The old weather lore says a halo around the moon means wind is coming. That ring is moonlight bent through ice crystals high in the sky — the sky giving notice. A halo around a stone does the same office: a bright centre, a ring of light, and beyond it whatever is on its way to you. And moissanite itself was first identified in 1893 not in a mine but in a meteorite crater in Arizona — a stone that fell out of the sky, wearing its own halo.
